The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), enacted in 2018, is the new consumer's personal information privacy act, which grants consumers rights concerning access and sharing of their personal information by businesses. The bill comes into effect from January 1, 2020. To enhance and protect the consumer's privacy rights of the residence of California is the purpose of this bill.
In reference to JOBMA, those citizens of California whose personal information is being collected and used for our business purpose will be affected by the CCPA.
